| I am
getting a No Network Card or NetBIOS not installed! error when I try to run
WasteBooks |

To fix this, complete the following
steps: |
|
|
|
|
1. |
Click on your Start Button, and
then select Control Panel. (Note: if the Control Panel
isn't listed in your Start Button, click on Settings in your Start
Button and it will be listed here.) |
|
|
|
|
2. |
In the Control Panel, double-click
on Network Connections. (Note: if it isn't listed, on
the left side of your Control Panel should be a choice to Switch to
Classic View, click this and then Network Connections will be
listed.) |
|
|
|
|
3. |
In the Network Connections box, there
should be the heading LAN or High-Speed Internet with a Local
Area Connection icon listed beneath it. |
|
|
|
|
4. |
Right-click on the Local Area
Connection icon and select Properties |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
5. |
In the Local Area Connection Properties
box that comes up click on the Install button. |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
6. |
In the Select Network Component Type
box, click Protocol and then click Add |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
7. |
In the Select Network Protocol box, select
NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol and then
click OK |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
8. |
When it is finished installing, click
the Close button |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
9. |
Now you can run WasteBooks from the
desktop icon. |
